Project Overview

NewCafe is one of the favorite cafes in the city. Which takes top care in crafting the very best blends of coffee and creating a friendly environment in the cafe. NewCafe targets customers like commuters and workers who want to grab a quick bite or coffee.

The goal is to design an app that allows NewCafe's customers to easily order online and skip the line at the store or have it delivered.

User Research

Pain points:

1. Time - Working adults want to pick up a coffee / quick bite as they dont have time for a full meal
2. Convenience - The platform needs to my intuitive and easy to use

With this I created a low fidelity prototype which I used to conduct a usability study

1. Customers want to be able to view upcoming orders
2. Want to place recurring orders
3. Need better navigations

Following usability study, I did a new iteration of the design to incorporate the suggestions. Added colors and introduced new icons
